Adriana Estrada

2nd-3rd Grade Teacher

Adriana Estrada is excited to be your 2nd grade teacher! She teaches 2nd and 3rd grade at SLAM Arizona. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Estrada worked as a trauma-based care worker. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at Grand Canyon University. In her free time, she loves kayaking and spending time outdoors. Ms. Estrada enjoys kayaking, hiking, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends and family. She believes in the philosophy that “Education is not one size fits all.” Having worked with the Chandler Unified School District, child care services in Trauma-Informed Care, social work, and nannying, she has always gravitated towards working in the field with children to help make a positive impact in their lives. Ms. Estrada's varied experiences and dedication to individualized education make her a valuable addition to our team, and she looks forward to an exciting and enriching year with her students.
