Taylor Hovey

Special Education

Taylor Hovey is an Arizona native who grew up in Henderson, Nevada and returned to the valley in 2014 to attend college at Arizona State University. She graduated in 2016 with her AA in early childhood special education and in 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She later obtained her paralegal degree. She is currently seeking her master’s degree in special education through Arizona State University. Growing up, she had a love of volleyball and basketball and played throughout high school. She has recently rediscovered her love of teaching and is excited to be back in the classroom helping every student achieve no matter what their situation. Taylor and her husband, Kyle, have 2 amazing children and 4 large dogs as they are both animal lovers. Some of her favorite vacation places to visit include the mountains and anywhere that is cold. She is very artistic and loves to craft and create unique items. She is looking forward to being part of the SLAM! Arizona family and helping the children accomplish their goals.
